Oceanographic Applications

APak Batteries has built many common batteries used in oceanographic research. We build a variety of configurations or custom design to meet specific requirements. For example, we developed massive batteries for the Hughes Corporation using Alkaline "D" cells to test the viability of a sea bottom research project.

Some of the common Alkaline battery configurations are shown below. Note that some of these batteries are shown here without their outer shrink wrap and tops. Although diode and fuse protection are not shown, typically each circuit is diode protected and the pack output is fuse protected. Contact us for quotations and details.
